SharePoint Designer 2007 – Now Free!

April 2nd, 2009 No comments

image

Previously known as "FrontPage", Microsoft’s SharePoint Designer2007 software makes working with SharePoint Server very easy. SharePoint Server allows employees to collaborate on information within their organization. The more employees using SharePoint Designer 2007 to share information — the better!

The problem was, you needed a separate SharePoint Designer 2007 license for each person. This would be the equivalent of having an Exchange Server, and only a few people using Microsoft Outlook! So Microsoft’s solution? You can now freely download SharePoint Designer 2007.

Why is Microsoft doing it? We believe that these changes will help you enable more users in your organization to create customizations that increase the value of your investments in SharePoint products and technologies now and in the future.
