I’m a huge fan of Windows Home Server, and am glad to see a Power Pack being released for it!. Windows Home Server Blog has a complete rundown of the Power Pack’s features, complete with screen shots.

In a nutshell, it includes new features for:

Windows Home Server Connector Software
Windows Home Server Data Backup
Remote Access
Home Computer Backups

If you don’t have one yet, I would HIGHLY recommend getting yourself a Home server from HP (500 GB or 1 TB)

I told you last month about Windows Home Server. HP will be soon releasing their $599.00 EX470 and $749.00 EX475, carrying 500GB / 1TB respectively. They both come in with AMD Sempron 1.8Ghz, four drive bays, 4 USB ports, and External SATA (eSata).

I know one thing, I’d like to have a TeraByte – plus all the other features – especially for only $750!!!

For those that have not heard of Microsoft Home Server, it is a special brand of Server, specifically for home use.

I had the pleasure of being a Beta Tester for Home Server, and it was really neat! Everything that home users need to be able to do was very easy. Setup was a breeze, and adding space was as simple as plugging in, and clicking Add.

No word yet on price, but given the functionality, it would be a great addition to any family.
