If you have used Vista, I’m sure you have fallen in love with the disk drive icons, and the fact that they show a free space bar below them. Well now you can have the same in Windows 2000 / XP!
Vista Drive Icon is an Open Source project. It is extremely small, and takes little to almost no system resources to run.
This is more than just Eye Candy, it is functional!

Anyone that knows me knows that I am a HUGE Firefox fan. I do quite a bit of browsing, and I absolutely hate ads. Especially the really big ones that take up so much space that it’s difficulty to read the article on the page! From the Author:
Ever been annoyed by all those ads and banners on the internet that often take longer to download than everything else on the page? Install Adblock Plus now and get rid of them. Right-click on a banner and choose “Adblock” from the context menu - the banner won’t be downloaded again. Or click Adblock Plus icon in the toolbar to see all elements of the page and block the banners. You can use filters with wildcards or even regular expressions to block complete banner factoriesGet it here:

The Greatest feature to me is that you can subscribe to Adblock lists, as well as add your own blocked adds. The subscription service works well, and have had very little ads since using this Firefox Extension.
IE lover? Not near as good as Adblock Plus, but Quero Toolbar does an OK job at blocking ads.
